FORMALS DEAD HORSE POINT, UT by Ricardo Quintana

It was so much fun to go to Dead Horse Point with Summer and Bobbie, it wasn’t just about posing in front of the camera in an epic place. It was about them, their story and how well we bonded and share. Road trips to shoot somewhere meaningful or epic are a whole experience that I love having with my clients.

Bobbie for the first time in years wore a dress, that made me feel so honored and humble to document that moment. The only think I wanted for this shoot was empowered their love, using this majestic views. By the end of it, we got those beautiful blues and pinks that I love so much and, brought some real intimate moments.

Suggested song “Barefoot in the Park” by James Blake and Rosalia.

“A ray of God fell in your eyes and it melted my heart.”

STUDIO, GARDEN & UTAH HILLS by Ricardo Quintana

Intimate backyard bridals with this indie couple putting the feeling of ethereal and romantic. We shot in the backyard , a little studio time with a white simple background and ended in a gorgeous sunset. My best for Nicholas and McKinley (Peanut).

MOUNTAIN FORMALS, UT by Ricardo Quintana

This couple killed it! We started on time and ready to get to Albion Basin in little cottonwood canyon.  After a couple of minutes their car overheated so we had to hitchhike to my car. Then,  my car decided to just turned off, seriously, it just happened, my car was in the shop the day before and it was all good.  We had to wait for a couple of minutes and even a small prayer I turn on my carand drove it at 5 mph. We finally got to an awesome location, not what we had planned but, everything worked out beautifully and I think it was mainly for the amazing attitude Ryan and Cat had during the whole shoot, so upbeat, positive, and full of energy!

Suggested song "Girl on Fire" by Alicia Keys.

Plus, they are looking their sharpest, Melissa looks like a Goddess with the flowers and details on her head and,  KB could be in a GQ magazine with this slick suit of his own brand.

For this shoot we did first look and then bridals.

Song suggested XO by Beyonce but I'm actually listening Mine by Beyonce and Drake ha.
